Well-equipped holiday guest house

The eco guest house provides comfortable accommodation, with 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 WC and a 30m² living room. From every room and the balcony, you have a splendid view of the valley and the Esterel mountains. The house has two sets of solar panels. One to generate electricity, the other, to heat the water for the shower and kitchen. The bedsheets are made from organic cotton and in the bathroom and kitchen we provide environmentally friendly detergents and cleaners.

When the house is not occupied by holiday guests we use it for seminars, dealing with all manner of environmental topics and for a variety of events.

A holiday let with its own park

The guest house is on the edge of an area of land measuring 2.5 hectares where you will find old oaks, olive trees and pines. The park just begs you to go for a walk, relax and meditate or sketch or paint. This is an ideal spot to practise mindfulness and deceleration, if you wish in the company of sheep as they graze.

Location

The two villages Fayence and Tourettes belong to the “village perchés”, five picturesque medieval villages situated on the southern slope not far from where the south-west Alps begin (the foothills of the Alps). Excellent for walking and hiking.

How to find us ?

By public transport
Take the train to St. Raphael-Valescure, for booking see www.sncf-connect.com. From there take the bus n° 3602 will take you to Fayence. This departs daily at 5:40 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. from the Gare Routière directly behind the main train station. The ticket costs only 3 euros. If you take the ICE from Frankfurt to Marseille (order the discount fare well in advance!) and stay overnight there, you can continue the journey in the morning and take the midday bus from St. Raphael to Fayence at 12.15 p.m. More bus information at: zou.maregionsud.fr

By car

Enter "Eco-Gite Ecoprovence" in Google maps. Drive through the village of Fayence (do not turn off in Tourrettes and drive through the very narrow village centre), then head towards Mons on the D 563 to the Chemin des Oliviers, approx. 500 m on the right after the Fayence end of town sign.

By plane
Arrive via Nice, from there take the 3003 bus towards St. Raphael and get off at Les Adrets stop. From there you can be picked up by car. Bus departure Nice airport, currently at Terminal 2, at 9.00, 11.30, 13.30 and 15.45 and at 19.30. There is also an afternoon connection via Grasse (train, bus). zou.maregionsud.fr

Mobility on site
You do not necessarily need to travel in your own car. Whilst bus services are generally not particularly good in rural France, there are five bus services a day (1 hour ride) to Fréjus and St Raphael train station - with a 5 minutes’ walk to the Mediterranean beach. There are also two bus connections to Cannes, but unfortunately only one very early to the perfume town of Grasse. Six different circular hikes can be made from Fayence, lasting between one and four hours. You can get a detailed description on site at Ecoprovence.
